Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by fostering gender equity, driving data-led innovations, and ensuring equitable access to technology, especially for women and girls in underserved communities.
We intentionally integrate feminist and gender-just approaches in everything we do, promote the inclusive use of the Internet, digital technologies, and data as key enablers for empowerment and social transformation. By dismantling structural barriers and embedding equity and inclusion into every layer of the digital ecosystem, we work to ensure that no one is left behind in the digital age. We envision a digitally inclusive and just ecosystem where technology not only drives equity and empowerment, but also serves as an engine for justice and equality, enabling women and marginalized communities to access opportunities, assert their agency, and fulfill their potential.
GTIN is centered on three core program areas:
- Gender and Tech Access Program: The Gender and Tech Access Program promotes equitable access to the internet, digital tools, and skills for women, girls, and marginalized communities. It focuses on bridging the gender digital divide through training, mentorship, innovation and inclusive tech infrastructure.. The program advances gender equality by challenging structural barriers and fostering inclusive participation in the digital space.
- Data and Innovations Program: Harnessing the power of data, we design innovative evidence-based solutions to address pressing social challenges and drive sustainable development.
- Climate Justice and Digital Resilience program: This program empowers women, youth, and marginalized communities to lead climate action through inclusive technology and data-driven solutions. It promotes gender-responsive, community-led innovations that address climate challenges and build resilient, sustainable digital futures.
